Class
People are getting richer.
People can afford better gadgets.
But what's the use if you do not have the growing class to match with it?
Laptops with better brands and better looks - but no use for the better functions.
Better handphones with better functions - but blasting them loudly in public transport without a care in the world.
More money to spend touring other countries - but talking loudly around like country pumpkins.
More money to dress nice with clothes, hair, and makeup - but refuse to give up seats to the needy, scolding vulgarities loudly in public, and reading newspapers with arms wide open even though it is crowded like hell.
People like to be envious of people with the best consumerist products, while I don't give a damn. These people may look good on the outside, but deep down, it is all rotten with no substance.
People are getting richer, so what? They are not necessary more educated. Nothing to celebrate about.
