Wow, time reallly passes by without us even noticing it!
It's Chirstmas Eve today!
SBH FAST.
Yess LaaRR this blog is ONE YEAR OLD!
Turning back to one year ago, I was still a NSF with nothing better to do, "busily" clearing leave and waiting for the all-important date.
Today, I'm an undergraduate who already went through one semester of studies in NUS, with 7 sems to go! =.=
Can't help but to love the contrast, I'm lovin' it =)
This week has been quite an eventful week, even if I'm doing just all the playing and going out.
Weekend: Was involved in a children's camp - great to see the children again! And the outdoor camping made everything so fun.. haven't experienced outdoor cook since you-know-when, so it's quite nice.. "AH, THE GREAT OUTDOORS~~"
Monday: Rest after the shagging camp
Tuesday:Badminton with 08, even as my badminton really sucks, it was fun re-discovering the sport I last played since primary 5! Remember we used to play badmintion in front of the lift lobby at Weibin's old house! =) All the running around made me wanna feel fit again
Wednesday: Yess LaRR! Watched "Mo Gong" at Tiong Bahru Plaza - at the last day of its showing! With Junwei, Junhan and Yaozong. Well, the show wasn't that spectacular, and it had some very cock logical flaws by Mozi's enemies - which we made a great deal laughing about it. But as a lover of epic Chinese war scenes, it was quite worth the $$. The real 'fun' begin when we walked North and South of the MRT station after the show, in search of the famous Tiong Bahru Food Centre! Following the map at the MRT station, we walked and walked and walked to find it - only to find out that it was demolished! The best thing - the map at the MRT wasn't update at all =.= So, we walked a grand total of TWO HOURS, before returning to TIONG BAHRU PLAZA to eat -_-
Thursday: Had a Klunch with my CL lecture mates, WeiLie, Patrick and Jack. Well, it was my first time singing with them and it was quite fun. However, it strengthed my resolve NEVER to go to Kbox again. Compared with Teo Heng, Kbox sucks big time. One major 'incident' highlighted this. I put my water bottle on the table. The ever-alert waiter, seeing my water bottle on the table, came in (one of the many many times that disrupted our singing) and said, "Sorry sir, no self-brought water allowed here" "But it's only plain water!" "Yes, I'll keep the water bottle for you, and return to you after your session" Diaoz. 1. Expensive ($11+ for lousy lunch hours) 2. No water allowed (then lidat how to sing?) 3. People keep coming in to distract your singing Compare this with the great Teo Heng, I would NEVER EVER step into Kbox again, unless is really really bo pian =X After that, Bao Fang came to join us, and we watched 'The Holiday' together. Well, the show was about love, and in the 'Love Actually' grain, albeit at a much much smaller scale of the love lives of two women. It made me pondered about love, but haha I became too numbed to feel much about it. However, the movie did have a festive and 'hope' feel to it, so it's well worth a watch in this festive season!
Friday: Played mahjong at night at Junhan's house, with the same "Mo Gong" party.. Well, it was fun talking cock and playing mahjong, although I lost $10!
Saturday: Had a fun time playing soccer in the morning with the usual 'Marist' gang, although the people are getting less and less 'Marist'. Played with Sincheng, Zhangwei, Junwei, Rayner, Yaozong, Weicheng, and Weichern brother's friends. It was quite fun playing in the netball court near TJ, but it was kinda too short =( Then, went to Teo Heng to sing again! with the 4dees girls.. But my voice was kinda chui-ed by Thursday =X Night time, went rayner's house to play mahjong.. I won $22! But due to the 'capping' system I won $15.. Crapz.
Yesss LAaRRR this is my update for the week! If only I can play so much during the semester hahaha
It's sickening to manoveur around the house in a mess, and you have to wake up at bloody 8am everyday to let those workers come in to do works in your house.
And everytime you wanna pee/shit/bathe you have to go downstairs to use the disgusting public toilet.. imagine going down around midnight after going home from an outing!
Rrrgh.. With this lousy mood I'll just post some pictures up.
Thanks to Cecilia for her wonderful ticket-COOPING skills, we got to watch the great ABC 知心知音演唱会 =) The first person I thought of was Yaozong, but too bad she didn't have one more ticket to spare.. Nonetheless, I went =)

The concert was really good, especially more so when it was free! =)
Yesterday, 05/12/06, the day of my last paper, the CL exam, marks the last day of my first semester in NUS.
Well, while I am supposed to feel damn damn damn damn damn damn happy and relieved about the end of the exams (hence the numerous YESSS LARRRRR!!!!!!!s on my msn nick and my tags), it was well summed up by Phoebe on msn.
"even tho exams over"
"i dun feel like super overjoyed or anything"
Yes, that's the feeling.
Although I'm SUPPOSED to feel happy and relieved, this time, I don't have any overwhelming kind of feeling. The feeling of finishing exams in university surely lacks that kind of joy, delight, and intense feel of relief after my O's and A's, although arguably, the exams in university are important as well, as it most probably be the last form of certification we'll get before we enter the workforce in a few years' time.
So what is the reason for this seemingly indifferent attitude? Is it because... the modules are so intense throughout the course such that the exams period was nothing unique? The fact that you do not have a fixed 'OG/class' (reference group) that goes through the exact same academic roller-coaster with you? The fact that it was only 1/8 of the entire result on the university certificate? The fact that you know the next semester will come before you know it?
Or is it... After the semester, we are already too mentally-exhausted to feel happiness or relief?
I'm not sure.
Well, exams are over, and maybe I shouldn't think so much hahaha.
Time to enjoy!!
Anyway, this is a list of movies I wanna watch. If you haven't watch them and don't mind watching in with me, please jio me!!
Happy Feet Casino Royale Deja Vu The Nativity Story
Yes to cap it off, this mtv is for my dear male friends who have served as conscripts of our state.
