Thanks to all those who came!!!Very happy to have our first 2A gathering after sUUUcccHHHH a long time.
First outing in like... 6 years?!??!?
A 2A outing has been on the back of my mind for a long long time, but I never thought it was possible.
So kudos to Ziyang for organising this outing!!
Went to Sakura restaurant at Tampines Safra to eat.
Never knew that there was such a restaurant there!!
When we went in, think me, and some of the others, were pleasantly surprised.
The ambience, I felt, was great.. the food was good, but the price was a bit erm.. steep. ($23.40/pax after discount for Safra membership)
Very happy to see some people I've not seen for such a loooooooooong time.
Weijian and Yihao were their usual chatty selves, Guoyuan, Xiao Yang, Chee Ching, Ziyang and I engaged in talking about those childish stuff we did in class then.. those hilarious childhood memories came back, so funny hahahahaa. I've been talking on msn to Yingwei all along, but I'm happy to see her in person. Despite not really talking a lot, it's great to see Kenneth and Ben Tan after sO long.. And a nice chat with Liwen at the pool centre felt good as I got updated about her life as well.
Although basically we just sat down, ate and chatted about our lives (mostly army stuff for guys), it felt good. It felt as if we've just left 2A yesterday, not 6 years ago!
This is the kind of friendship many people desire. You may not see them often, but once you see them, you feel as if the friendship has never faded. You just chat along, and feel no distance whatsoever.
That's what exactly I felt! Everybody leads a different life now, but everyone seemed not to have changed so much... it was great knowing that =)

No wonder they say childhood friends are often best friends..
