With the elections looming, this blog's gonna turn political over the next 10 days.
Wa, not scared government catch ah?
Haha, when the MDA or whatever internet-policing association sees the readership level of my blog, they gonna laugh and say, "Let him be. Nobody reads it anyway!"
So, I've no concern over that. I trust that the government is not paranoid to that level, as owners of more prominent political blogs like singaporegovt.blogspot.com, littlespeck.com and commentarysingapore.blogspot.com are not even asked to register their blogs.
Following Nomination Day on 27th May, it was finally clear where which parties are going to contest in.
With my house situated in East Coast GRC (four-man Bedok GRC was conveniently absorbed into it after the PAP won a 'fantastic' 60.25 % of the votes), it was the first time this place has seen an election since 1991.
As a keen observer about the news of the upcoming elections, it's good to see a contest here.
The posters came out in full force.
right in the middle of bedok central
u can't possibly miss me when u cross the road, I'm on top of the button! (see unde poster)
They were out in their signature blue (in case you don't know, it's the WP's official shirt colour this time round) shirts, the colour not unlike the one you see on this blog.
We can already see WP pamplets in the hands of some people at the hawker centre.
They're hardworking.
But will the hardwork translate into votes?
Let's see.
More to follow.
